Message from the Chancellor
Prof. M.A Aderogba
Dean, Faculty of Science, Ila-Orangun.
My area of specialization is Medical Chemistry. in the faculty, we started with first set of students admitted into all the departments in the University because first year students in all our degree programmes must register for chemistry, Physics and biology courses in the Faculty of Science .
Achievements:
- Establishment of standard laboratories in the three major courses. So we have Chemistry, Physics and Biology laboratories.
- Successful conduct of year one exams 600 foundation students.
- Training for academic staff to enhance their skills in teaching and the conduct of examinations.
- Addition of a new department of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology,
- Support for staff training and development.
Notable Work:
He is the author of several books on governance, economic growth, and education reform, and a keynote speaker at international academic summits.
